Shutterbug sees beyond the big picture

Sarah J. Glover is a general assignment photographer at the Philadelphia Inquirer and the director of NABJ's Region II director. An active NABJ member since 1994, Glover also serves as a member of the Visual Task Force, Media Monitoring Committee and the Young Journalist Task Force. She also serves as parliamentarian of the Philadelphia Association of Black Journalists.

As Region II director, Glover has lead two successful regional meetings and was program coordinator for a national health forum sponsored by PABJ. She also volunteers for the Philadelphia Inquirer's annual Acel Moore Minority Career Development Workshop.

Glover recently completed a fellowship through the University of Maryland's Journalism Fellowships in Child and Family Policy and in 2000, she completed the Robert C. Maynard Institute's Workshop on Total Community Coverage.
She is currently working on a Master's degree in communication/cultural studies from Edinboro University of PA.
