Correction: An article in the Thursday, August 7, edition of the NABJ Monitor incorrectly attributed a quote to A'Lelia Bundles, coordinator of the 2003 NABJ convention's Author's Showcase. Bundles said she hoped that the more visible location for the showcase would make it a signature NABJ event and that she hoped promoting the work of NABJ members who are authors would encourage others wishing to write books. She did not say: "For those journalists who have a book itching to break its shell and jump out of them, I hope this showcase will better motivate them."
